Mediabar Editor 0.3 Free Download For Nokia

Mediabar Editor 0.3 Free Download For Nokia 5800, 5530, 5230, N97, X6, C6, Samsung i8910 HD, Sony Ericsson Satio and Vivaz
BIG thx dan-av patch for the library, thanks to him was possible to modify the application mediabar, but I just want to make this process easier.

This program enables you to edit MediaBar (button XM)
Instructions for the various ports:
- Open File frMediaToolbar.dll clicking on the "Open", or simply dragging it to the window (only use the patched file in the archive with the program)
- Instead of digits 1,2,3,4,5 will be written UIDs programs that are currently registered in the launch of the buttons mediabar
- Useful UIDs can introduce yourself to replace the existing, or select the desired program from the dropdown list
- After making changes, click on "Apply" button
- Library patched !

File frMediaToolbar.dll can pack into the firmware or just put on the C drive to a folder sys\bin and reboot the phone. If the C drive is already such a file and you want to replace it again, then you need to first "kill" the process MediaBar.exe through any task manager.

Instructions for the original firmware:
- Instead of digits 1,2,3,4,5 write UIDs we need applications mediabar or simply choose the application from the drop-down lists
- When will be filled in all the fields click on "Create patch"
- The patch appears in the folder where the program. Put it in startup RomPatcher and enjoy. RomPatcher must be registered in the autorun!

- File Transfer icon in C:\resource\apps\mediabar.mbm. Icon format raster. Ports only. Example is attached

The list of programs with UID's can replenish itself, edit the file list.ini.

Replacing Icons:
Who wants to replace the icons in the XM-panel at the system level, not in the subject (ie the need to edit Series60Skin.mif), but does not know it was there that pick, I cite a list of files, which are responsible for these icons. But for the beginning said that for every button XM need 3 graphics I've found:
- The first is responsible for the normal icon
- Second - for the icon when the application is running
- The third - for the push of a button

Filenames XM:
Browser: Entry1589, Entry1590, Entry1591.
Gallery: Entry1592, Entry1593, 1594.
Music Player: Entry1595, Entry1596, Entry1597.
Share online: Entry1598, Entry1599, Entry1600.
Video center: Entry1601, Entry1602, Entry1603.

For background XM-bar corresponds to two files: a portrait - Entry1609, and in the landscape - Entry1620.

but i want to share my little tutorial how i add other languages in CFW to have no bugs:

1. Unpack your CFW with Nokia Firmware Editor.
2. Import a language pack.
3 Enter in ROFS2 directory
4. Click on Find & write *.r01 exactly how i wrote here with * & click Search
5. All filles from results copy to a new folder
6. after that find in ROFS2 directory *.rXX (where XX is your language code, for example Romanian is r78) & search for files
7. All files copy to your created folder where you putted *.r01 files
you can see that zipmanager.r78 don't have the .r01 file so i will delete it , but firs i have to find it in my ROFS2 directory, then i do a New Text File in Notepad & write in it
for example my file zipmanager.r78 is in \ROFS2\resource\apps so i write in my text file
the path of the file

[MOD] Virtual QWERTYs for your N97 & N97 Mini

This guide is for N97 & N97 Mini users wanting QWERTYs in their devices.
I did this successfully in my N97 Mini Device.
I think this will also work with N97 Classic Device.
This will integrate Full Screen QWERTY and Mini QWERTY in your device.
Also, Please hit the GREEN ARROW if this has helped.

1) Follow this guide that I made, CAREFULLY:
HOW TO: Integrate QWERTY in ECOM + Fix Phys. Keyboard Keymappings (N97,N97M,C6)       - The guide above will yield you with 3 files.
   - Those 3 files are IMPORTANT.
   - The phone would not boot if mistakenly used.

2) Download this file: PASSWORD: SCL

   - These files are the files responsible for the QWERTYs.
   - This has English Language Only. If you are using other Language as the system's language, the QWERTYs will not appear.
   - To add other Languages, follow the instructions included.
   - Also, included in the download are the files for French Language. You can use this as an example to integrate your own language.

     NOTES: (StaticFeatures.dll)
   - This file contains Smooth Brightness MOD. It changes Light Sensor Settings to Brightness Settings with Smooth Options.
   - Also, this changes the Charger Light to a Brighter and Stable Light when charging while the phone is turned on.
   - And this doesn't have Power Button Bug.

   (This file is the reason that the C6-Ported Firmware for N97 Mini by binh24 has the Power Button Bug.)
   (N97 Mini with C6-Ported Firmware |binh24| users can use this file in Step 2 to fix that bug.)

3) Lastly, combine the files you have in Step 1 with Step 2.

   OPTIONAL:  Delete other PtiKeymappings_XXX_XX.dll found in your FW/CFW.

WARNING: (N97 Classic Users)
   -   Explanation of StaticFeatures.dll
   * This file can be very PROBLEMATIC.
   * It is found in ROFS2\sys\bin and holds the information for the features of the device as follows:
   + Virtual QWERTYs
   + FM Transmitter
   + Light Sensor
   + TV-Out
   + Power Button Information
+ etc.
   * The 'StaticFeatures.dll' included in the package in Step 2 does not include FM Transmitter since
   that file was actually modded for 5800 which also worked perfectly with N97 Mini.
   (Devices that have no FM Transmitter)
   * Thus, using the package in Step 2 will disable FM Transmitter.
   * If you want FM Transmitter back, you can use your ORIGINAL StaticFeatures.dll and SUFFER this consequences:
   + Virtual QWERTYs won't appear. (Since N97's DLL File does not indicate the presence of these keyboards)
   * Or you can PM great newcooller for a solution to this.

CREDITS:

HOW TO: Integrate QWERTY in ECOM + Fix Phys. Keyboard Keymappings (N97,N97M,C6)

* This GUIDE is for Fixing and Repairing Wrong Physical Keyboard Keymappings.
   (eg. Wrong symbols appearing when you press a key on the physical keyboard)
* This GUIDE is also for N97 & N97 Mini Users (using C6 Ported Firmwares) wanting to Fix Physical Keyboard Mappings
   and RETAIN the Full Screen & Mini QWERTY (from 5800).
* This GUIDE is also used for Integrating the Full Screen & Mini QWERTY (from 5800) in N97, N97 Mini, & C6 OFFICIAL Firmwares.

NOTES:
* You can just paste your original ecom, ptikeymappings, and srsf_3_0 to the C6 port without editing the ecom file.
   This would still restore the original keymappings of your keyboard (e.g. the symbols found in the physical keyboard
   when you press shift). However, the Full QWERTY and Mini QWERTY keyboards won't appear.
   That is the main reason why some parts of the 5800 ecom is copied because it contains reference to the files responsible
   for the usage of those QWERTY's.
* The device used here is an N97 mini device that contains an Arabic Keyboard Layout; thus the usage of v15 in the
   N97 mini firmware files.

For N97 Classic (OFW) Users, even if you were able to integrate QWERTY (peninputgenericvkb.dll) in ECOM,
still, QWERTYs would not appear if you use the original StaticFeatures.dll.
You might wanna use a StaticFeatures.dll from 5800 (which contains QWERTY) but you will lose
FM Transmitter capability.

Edited ECOMs are now available at the bottom of this post

1) Download ROFS2 of a Nokia 5800 Firmware from NaviFirm.
   - The firmware should be from a Nokia 5800 (RM-356) that is manufactured in the region where your N97 mini originated.
   e.g. If I have an N97 mini with an Arabic Physical Keyboard, then I would download a firmware from a 5800
   manufactured in MENA.

     NOTE: I am 95% sure that you can just download any 5800 (RM-356) ROFS2. (Since the contents of the ecom-2-0.spi
   that we need from the ROFS2 are all the same)

2) Extract the Downloaded Firmware using NOKIA FIRMWARE EDITOR.

3) Navigate to ROFS2\private\10009d8f\ and copy ecom-2-0.spi. Then paste it somewhere accessible.

4) Extract the ORIGINAL FIRMWARE of your Phone
e.g. (RM-555_12.0.110_prd.rofs2.VXX) for N97 Mini

NOTE: XX denotes the code of the firmware.

5) Navigate to ROFS2\private\10009d8f\ and copy ecom-2-0.spi, PtiKeymappings_555_XX.dll, & srsf_3_0.bin and paste it somewhere accessible.

NOTE: 555 is for N97 Mini. You may have different RM Variant such as 505, 506, 507, 612, etc.

6) Open the Nokia 5800 ecom and the N97 mini ecom (or C6 and N97) with XVI32 (or any other Hex Editor).

7) While in the 5800 ecom, navigate to the block shown in the image below. Press CTRL+B on the first block and navigate to the second block. Again, press CTRL+B. This would highlight a set of letters and numbers. Press CTRL+C on your keyboard. This would copy the set.

NOTE: If you're having problems locating the block shown below; Press CTRL+F (Find), and type -94 and you will
be directed to the location of the block below.

8) Click the block shown in the image below in the N97 mini ecom (or C6 and N97). And press CTRL+V on your keyboard. This would paste the copied set.

     NOTE: This looks like an inverted T
   And if you're having problems locating the block shown below; Press CTRL+F (Find), and type -94 and you
   will be directed to the location of the block below.

9) Close the 5800 ecom. Navigate to the last part of the N97 mini ecom (or C6 and N97). Rename the 3 blocks from 555 (or 505, 612, etc.) to 612 as shown in the image below.

10) Rename the N97 mini PtiKeymappings_555_XX.dll to PtiKeymappings_612_XX.dll.

     NOTE: For other RMs, you'll have a different name for this file, PtiKeymappings_XXX_XX.dll
   In that case, just make sure that the final name would be PtiKeymappings_612_XX.dll

11) Navigate to your Extracted C6 Port (Or Official Firmwares) and paste the N97 mini files (Or other RM's files) in their corresponding folders.
   -   ecom-2-0.spi ROFS2\private\10009d8f\
   -   PtiKeymappings_612_XX.dll ROFS2\sys\bin\ (DELETE all other PtiKeymappings_XXX_XX.dll in that folder)
   -   srsf_3_0.bin ROFS2\system\data

12) Repack the C6 Port Firmware Or Official Firmware and flash through JAF. Enjoy!

Recognize 1st the number at the end of your ROFS2 File; if it matches with the packages here, then use the package that has the same Region Set Code with your ROFS2

Symbian S60 v5 Modding:Repartition Rofs2 with OFW for CFW

To create a rofs2 of OFW files for creating a CFW or for any other use just follow the procedure

Here is the procedure

1. Firstly, download three files ( rofs2, rofs3, and .coo ) of your OFW using Navifirm and extract them using NFE.
2. Now download a C6 ported rofs2 for your device and extract it.
3. After extracting C6 rofs2 using NFE delete all files from it.
4. After deleting all C6 files open the folder where you have extracted files of your OFW and paste the contents of OFW files in cleaned C6 rofs2 in this order :- 1. .coo 2.rofs2 and 3. rofs3 .
5. After that repack the rofs2.
6. All Done ! Enjoy

INSTRUCTIONS IN FLASHING:

* If you're current firmware is 30.0.4; You have no choice
   but to use the NEW CORE Files (30.0.4).

* If you're current firmware is 30.0.4 and you are using the
   OLD CORE Files (12.0.110); you're phone will become bricked! This is DOWNGRADING!

* If you're current firmware is 12.0.110 and you renamed my ROFS2 to 12.0.110 and used OLD CORE Files,
   you're phone is still of 12.0.110 Firmware.
   JAF may show error of 'Flash Files Corrupted'. In that case, you have no choice but to use the NEW CORE Files.

* If you're current firmware is 12.0.110 and you have used
   NEW CORE Files (30.0.4); then you just have upgraded your firmware
   to 30.0.4.

* Flashing with NEW CORE Files may disable you from using other
   N97 Mini CFWs that are based on Firmware 12.0.110.

* Follow the same instructions in flashing.
