The Samsung Function is the Verizon’s CDMA version of the original Samsung Galaxy S II, which is having all the same high-end specifications, and solid hardware as that of the original Galaxy S II handset. It is also known as Samsung I9100, Samsung Within for Sprint, Samsung Attain for AT&T.
Measuring at 8.4mm thickness, Samsung Function comes pre-installed with Google’s Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread OS flavored with TouchWiz 4.0 customizations, running on a dual-core 1.2GHz ARMv7 application processor with 1GB RAM, sporting a 400 800 pixel 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, fixed with an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash, which is capable of recording 1080p HD video, and there is a 2 megapixel camera on the front side of the handset for video chat purpose. Samsung Function is also having 16GB memory storage, micro-SD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, 3.5mm headphone jack, micro-USB charging, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI out, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, Games Hub, Music Hub, Reader Hub, Social Hub, Android Market, DLNA functionality, all the services of Google & Verizon Wireless services, and powered by 1650mAh battery.
