Twitter announced that it has done redesigning the mobile webapp, the page you land on when you go to www.twitter.com from your smartphone's web browser in case you don't have a dedicated client installed.
Besides ridiculously resembling the dedicated iPhone app, the new webapp is fast and takes advantage of HTML5 as well as gestures supported by smartphones. It's rather easy to use and intuitive but you'll have to wait a little bit until you meet the new face of mobile Twitter as the webapp is rolling out to a small percentage of users on iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android smartphones with more people being added in the coming weeks.
