Custom ROM For HD7

While many will agree that Windows Phone 7 doesn't really need custom ROMs to make it better (since it's easy to uninstall anything you don't want), a lot of people still enjoy pushing the limits of their smartphones. Today we hear that Ansar of XDA-Developers has created the first custom ROM for the HTC HD7 using the DFT hard SPL tools. The custom ROM doesn't add a huge amount of differentiation, but it does make the device easily upgradable to Mango beta 2 (by plugging it into Zune) and also unlocks the device for use on any network. Understand that anything you do to your smartphone is your own responsibility. Installing a custom ROM can be harmful, void your warranty or even render your smartphone useless.
