ZTE's Solar-Powered Android Leaked?

Chinese OEM ZTE appears to have a solar-powered Android handset in the works, the ZTE Solar X500 -- at least according to a product listing on InvisibleShield-maker Zagg's website. However, the X500 doesn't show up in any of the usual certification body databases -- unusual for a phone launching in the near future -- meaning that it's possible ZTE scuttled the project prior to release. Also unusual is the design of the supposed X500: ZTE tends to use a three button configuration on its Android devices.

That being said, ZTE expressed interest in producing a sun-powered Android back in 2009, and already makes a feature phone with embedded solar cells. The Samsung Replenish on Sprint is also able to recharge using the sun's rays, but only with an optional part.
