As some of us would feel, the Nokia 5800/5230/5233's headphone volume is relatively poor as compared to the n97's or n95 for some reasons. But to effectively compensate the loss, we can use a simple technique using 'Power-MP3'. To implement it, do the following:
1. Download and install PowerMP3 v1.16(only) which is provided in the attachment.
2. Open power mp3 and go to Settings> Preferences> Audio (u can do this by pressing the right arrow on the top right corner of the screen.)
Select 'preamp' and change it to exactly +2.
NOTE: Too much preamp will cause noise and distortion in the music, so keep it as per the recommended level.
3. Come back to the Mainscreen, select 'EQ' and create a new preset exactly as given in the picture:
Name it as 'Powerful' or u can name it with your choice
4)Update the music library and play the song...You can feel the Bass flowing through your ears.... .
Easy and simple...
NOTE:
1. This technique has been researched by me and my party for 2 years and is proven to be the best settings for power-mp3. But any suggestions for improvement is always welcome.
2. This method has not been tested on Nokia n97. As its volume is already loud, using this method may cause damage to the ear. Hence use precaution and i am not responsible for any issue in this regard.
