I just realised that WRT widgets work with atleast C6 and N97 (Only tested with N8, reply if it works.). I already posted this on symbian^3 forum, but decided to post it here too for people who only follow this forum.
So I finally finished my DesktopNotes widget and here it is. With this widget you can add notes to your home screen. Package contains four widgets and each of them stores their own note.
