According to analysts Distimo, Mac App Store has a relatively slow development when compared with the iTunes App Store: two months in Mac-windows put 2,225 applications, nearly four times less than the volume of software products that have been issued for the iPad for the same period of time .
The first three hundred developers in the Mac-ranking Mac App Store earn twice as much as their counterparts from the same list of developers under the iPad. And this is connected, obviously, with the price of applications that are on average seven times more expensive iOS-companions.
